Dillon graduated from Columbia University, majoring in the History and Theory of Architecture, with a minor in Visual Arts and Photography. There, he shot for the Columbia Spectator and was a senior mentor in the University's Photography Society. It was before college, while on an extended backpacking trip through Europe, that Dillon was first exposed to the vast and boundless beauty one only discovers through travel. This prompted him to enlist in the U.S. Navy where he was stationed aboard a ship out of Pearl Harbor. His sailing experience offered him the opportunity to visit many ports throughout both the Middle East and Western Pacific. As an avid lover of films, Dillon is compelled by expressive moments and shoots to capture the cinematography of daily life. He now works in NYC as a freelance photographer and photo editor.
